Privacy Policy
ViralCam — Video Editing App with Animated Stickers
Version 1.0 | Last updated: May 6, 2026
Applies to: Google Play Store & Apple App Store
1Who We Are — Data Controller
This Privacy Policy describes how AMCompany, a sole-proprietor business operated by Anyelo Moreno («AMCompany», «we», «us», «our»), handles information in connection with the mobile application ViralCam («Application»), available on Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
For any privacy-related question, request, or complaint, contact us at the address above. We will respond within 5 business days.
2The Core Principle: Local-Only Processing
ViralCam is built around a local-only processing model. Every video you import, every audio track you add, every sticker or text you place, and every video you export is processed and stored exclusively on your own device. At no point does AMCompany receive, access, or store any of your media files on its own servers or any servers under its control.
- Your videos, images, or audio files
- Your name, email address, or any personal identifier
- Your location data
- Your contacts or calendar data
- Biometric or health data
- Financial or payment data
- Browsing history or search history on other apps
Because your media never leaves your device, AMCompany cannot recover, restore, or back up any content created with the Application. You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of your files.
3Device Permissions — What We Request and Why
ViralCam requests specific device permissions that are required for core features. Below is a full explanation of each permission, why it is needed, and what it is never used for.
Android Permissions
Used to record your voice or ambient audio directly within the Application to add as an audio track to your videos. Audio is saved only on your device and is never transmitted to AMCompany.
Allows you to select audio files stored on your device (music, recordings) to add as background tracks to your videos. Files are read locally; no audio is uploaded anywhere.
Allows you to select video files from your device gallery as the source material for editing. Videos are processed entirely on-device; no video content is transmitted.
On older Android versions (API 32 and below), this permission covers access to both video and audio files stored on the device. It is the legacy equivalent of the media-specific permissions above and is not requested on Android 13+.
Required for: loading animated sticker content (Klipy), displaying advertisements (Google AdMob), fetching remote configuration (Firebase), and validating Premium subscriptions (RevenueCat). Not used to upload your personal media.
Used to determine whether the device has an active internet connection before attempting network requests (e.g., loading stickers or ads). No personal data is involved.
iOS Permissions
Used to record your voice or audio to add as a track to your videos. Audio is saved only on your device and is never transmitted to AMCompany or any third party by the Application.
Required by Apple for apps that display personalized advertising through Google AdMob. If you grant this permission, your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA) may be used by Google AdMob to show you relevant ads. You can deny this permission and ads will still appear but will be less personalized. AMCompany does not directly access or store your IDFA.
4Data Collected by Third-Party Services
While AMCompany does not collect personal data directly, the Application integrates third-party services that may collect certain information under their own privacy policies. The following table summarizes what each service collects, why, and whether it is linked to your identity.
| Service | Data Collected | Purpose | Linked to you? |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google AdMob Google LLC |
Advertising ID (GAID / IDFA), device model, OS version, app usage events, IP address | Display ads; measure ad performance | Possible |
| Google Firebase RC Google LLC |
Anonymous installation ID, device info, fetch timestamps | Deliver remote app configuration (feature flags, limits) | Anonymous |
| RevenueCat RevenueCat, Inc. |
Purchase receipt, subscription status, anonymous app user ID, device platform | Validate and manage Premium subscriptions | Anonymous ID |
| Klipy Independent third party |
Sticker search queries, API request metadata (device platform, app version) | Return animated sticker and GIF search results | Not linked |
| Google Play / App Store Google LLC / Apple Inc. |
Payment details, account information (managed entirely by the platform) | Process app downloads and in-app purchases | Platform-managed |
AMCompany does not have access to the raw personal data collected by these services. Each provider acts as an independent data controller or processor subject to its own privacy policy and applicable law. Links to their privacy policies:

5How We Use Information
The limited information that flows through the Application’s third-party integrations is used for:
- Providing the Application’s features: Serving sticker content, delivering app configuration, and enabling advertising.
- Managing Premium access: Verifying whether your in-app purchase entitles you to Premium features.
- Displaying advertising: Showing relevant or contextual ads to free-tier users through Google AdMob.
- Improving app stability: Using anonymous configuration data from Firebase to adjust feature limits and fix operational issues.
AMCompany does not use any data for profiling, selling to data brokers, targeted marketing outside the Application, or any purpose beyond what is described in this Policy.
6Data Sharing and Disclosure
AMCompany does not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with any third party for their own marketing purposes.
Information may be disclosed only in the following circumstances:
- Integrated service providers: As described in Section 4, data flows to Google, RevenueCat, and Klipy solely to operate the features they power within the Application.
- Legal obligation: If required by applicable law, court order, or government authority, AMCompany may disclose information to the extent legally required.
- Protection of rights: To protect the rights, property, or safety of AMCompany, its users, or the public, where permitted by law.
- Business transfer: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, any applicable data would be transferred to the successor entity, which would be bound by this Policy.
7Data Retention
Because AMCompany does not collect or store personal data on its own servers, there is no retention period to define on AMCompany’s side for user media or personal identifiers.
For data held by third-party services (AdMob, Firebase, RevenueCat), retention periods are governed by each provider’s own data retention policies. Please refer to their respective privacy policies for details.
Data stored locally on your device (edited projects, exported videos, app settings) remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the Application. AMCompany cannot access or delete this data on your behalf.
8Children’s Privacy
ViralCam is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the Application, please contact us at soporte@amcompany.net so we can take appropriate action.
Regarding advertising: Google AdMob applies its own child-directed settings. If AMCompany becomes aware that the Application is being used by children under the applicable age limit, advertising will be configured accordingly to comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations.
9Advertising and Tracking
ViralCam displays advertisements in the free version through Google AdMob. Depending on your consent (via the App Tracking Transparency prompt on iOS, or Google’s consent framework on Android), ads may be personalized based on your advertising identifier.
- Personalized ads: Enabled only when you explicitly grant consent. Google AdMob may use your advertising ID to show ads relevant to your interests.
- Non-personalized ads: If you deny the tracking permission, you will still see ads, but they will be contextual rather than interest-based.
- No ads: Premium subscribers do not see any advertisements within the Application.
You can reset or limit your advertising ID at any time through your device settings: Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Reset advertising ID. iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
10Your Rights
Depending on your country of residence, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right of access: Request a copy of the personal data held about you.
- Right to rectification: Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Right to erasure («right to be forgotten»): Request deletion of your personal data.
- Right to restriction of processing: Request that processing of your data be limited.
- Right to data portability: Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Right to object: Object to processing based on legitimate interests or direct marketing.
- Right to withdraw consent: Withdraw consent for data processing at any time (e.g., revoking the tracking permission on your device).
Since AMCompany does not hold personal data directly, most of these rights apply to data held by third-party services (Google, RevenueCat). To exercise rights regarding that data, you should contact those providers directly. For any privacy request related to the Application, write to soporte@amcompany.net.
California residents (CCPA): You have the right to know what personal information is collected, to opt out of the sale of personal information (AMCompany does not sell personal information), and to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights.
EEA/UK residents (GDPR): You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority if you believe your rights have been violated.
11Data Security
AMCompany takes reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the Application and its integrations. However, since all user media is processed locally on your device, the security of that data depends primarily on the security of your device.
We strongly recommend that you:
- Keep your device’s operating system and the Application up to date.
- Use a device lock screen (PIN, password, or biometric).
- Maintain your own backups of any content you create with the Application.
No method of electronic storage is 100% secure. AMCompany cannot guarantee absolute security and assumes no liability for unauthorized access to data stored on your device.
12International Data Transfers
AMCompany is operated from Venezuela. When you use the Application, data may be transferred to and processed in countries where the Application’s third-party services operate — including the United States, where Google LLC and RevenueCat, Inc. are headquartered.
These transfers are governed by the privacy policies and data transfer mechanisms of each respective provider (e.g., Google’s Standard Contractual Clauses). AMCompany has no direct control over cross-border transfers made by third-party service providers.
13Changes to This Privacy Policy
AMCompany may update this Privacy Policy at any time. When we make material changes, the updated version will be published on our website and on the Application’s store pages, with the date of the most recent update clearly indicated at the top.
Your continued use of the Application after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy. If you do not agree with the changes, you must stop using the Application and uninstall it.
